Internship Program Training
The Internship Program provides a unique opportunity to gain practical counseling experience through live observation of counseling sessions at our Colorado Springs, Colorado office. Participants will observe real cases via TV monitors and headphones in an adjacent room, allowing for a detailed understanding of counseling dynamics.
Why This Works:
This method of training is highly effective, as interns learn from specific, real-life challenges clients face. Observing sessions equips participants with deeper insights into identifying and addressing spiritual and emotional issues.
Program Details:
- Interns must sign a confidentiality statement.
- Requirements for completion:
- Observe 10 counseling cases.
- Write a summary paper for each case (an outline will be provided).
Program Flexibility:
- The Internship Program runs during weeks when counseling sessions are scheduled.
- Cases do not need to be observed in consecutive weeks, allowing for flexibility.
Pre-requisites:
Participants must view the Identifying & Resolving Spiritual Issues series and complete the accompanying workbook.
How to Apply:
The Internship Program is application-based and limited to 8 participants per counseling session. To request an application and more information, please email us at caringfortheheart@msn.com.
