In-Depth Training Seminars
Training Seminars are designed to give you, as a pastor/counselor/lay person the tools to begin applying Biblical principles to identify and resolve couples’ and individuals’ problems. The seminar week (Monday through Friday) includes approximately 30 hours of instruction. In our Colorado Springs Colorado office, we offer both in person and Zoom video conferencing attendance for the In-Depth Training Seminars.
Pre-requisites for the training: 1) previously attended a Caring for the Heart Seminar; OR viewed the Identifying & Resolving Spiritual Issues series and completing the accompanying Workbook.

Due to space available in our Colorado Springs Colorado office, seminars are currently limited to 20 people. Individuals and couples are welcome to attend.
Internship Program Training
Our Internship Program offers counselor training through live observation of clients who are being counseled in our Colorado Springs Colorado office. In an adjacent room, the counseling sessions are viewed on tv monitors and listened using headphones.
This method of training has proven very effective since those observing actual cases can learn from specific problems the clients struggle with. Every intern is required to sign a confidentiality statement.
Pre-requisites for the internship program: viewing the Identifying & Resolving Spiritual Issues series and completing the accompanying Workbook.
Requirements to complete the program: 1) observe the counseling of 10 cases; and 2) write a summary paper on each case observed (an outline for the paper will be provided).
The Internship Program is available during weeks that counseling is taking place in our office. This Program is flexible in nature-cases need not be viewed during consecutive weeks.
